Job Description

German Motors Collision Center is looking for a full time Monday through Friday Customer Service Representative/Estimator Trainee


Looking for professional, highly organized individual with great customer service skills. Must be able to handle a stressful work environment and work well with co-workers. Must be sales and service driven. High volume shop with demanding clientele. This is a long term position. Willing to train the right candidate. Must be computer proficient.


Job Purpose

• To maintain daily communication with the used car department
• To efficiently assess damage and wear to used vehicles and prepare a concise estimate
• To manage used car production and keep an accurate timeline
• To maintain the used car log hourly or as required
• To quickly communicate specific production needs to management
• To ensure quality workmanship is applied


Responsibilities
• Progress on all vehicles must be known intimately. Accurate updates must be able to be provided on demand
• Service provided to Used Car Dept must be complete and prompt, with a sense of urgency. Cost determination must be a primary focus in this
• Manage used car production thoroughly, set and keep a timeline, and follow up hourly
• Production will be based on "First In First Out" unless otherwise indicated by Used Car Dept management
• Used car log will be kept up to date hourly with notes, dates, etc.
• Personally Q.C. every car prior to delivery and monitor quality through every step of the reconditioning process
• Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain needed parts
• Attend and successfully complete training as required by factory or BMW Center
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes

• Excellent customer service skills
• Technically knowledgeable, experienced, or trainable on BMW product line
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational and documentation skills
• Clean DMV record
• Previous experienced preferred
