Job Description

BMW of San Francisco is looking for full-time shuttle drivers with great customer service! Please note that no special license is needed and just a regular Class C License works perfectly fine as you will most likely be driving our BMW i3.

Our shuttle drivers will be driving our customers to/from our dealership to designated drop off locations around downtown San Francisco during the morning. Afternoon duties will consist of helping out with our porter team moving vehicles from one location to another.

Duties include but are not limited to:
• Operates passenger shuttle safely and efficiently
• Operates within the predesignated area with exceptions approved by management
• Follows schedule created by management
• Promote and attain BMW/MINI standards for customer service
• Maintain a professional appearance
• Caters to customer needs
• Builds customer relationships
• Coordinates with fellow shuttle drivers regarding routes, shuttle staging, and schedule
• Responsible for shuttles cleanliness, fuel/charging level, and staging
• Communicates with Operations/Service manager regarding vehicle condition, IE service requirements, tires, etc
• Assists in moving disabled vehicles in or around the service department, including vehicle road tests during downtime
• Assists in all areas of the dealership as needed and if time allows (Helping out our porter team, moving vehicles from one location to another, lot maintenance/keeping track of inventory)
• Understand key vehicle features associated with the shuttle being used

Job Requirements


• Must have a clean driving record
• Familiarity with driving in San Francisco
• Previous shuttle/driving experience
• Ability to drive Manual Transmission is required but training may be available for the most qualified applicants
• Previous customer service experience
• Good interpersonal skills
• Must be presentable, courteous, and have a good attitude
• Dependable
• Good communication skills
• Proficient with time and resource management
• Ability to prioritize tasks in order of importance; in accordance with center objectives
• Computer literate; proficient with software
• Have the ability to learn
• Previous experience at a dealership a plus
